Stab victim released from hospital
A 44-year-old stab-victim has been discharged from hospital. The man was stabbed in his left shoulder at around 2pm yesterday (July 23) in Carew Way, Orpington. But the injury was not serious and he was allowed to return home in the early evening. Residents reported hearing a couple arguing just before the man was attacked. Big Dance in Orpington
People of all ages hit the dance floor to take part in a national event. A specially constructed marquee was placed outside the Walnuts Leisure Centre in Lynchgate Road, Orpington to host 1,500 dancers and spectators. Man, 44, stabbed in back
A 44-year-old man has been taken to hospital after being stabbed in the back in Orpington. The incident happened at around 2pm today (July 23) in Carew Way on the Ramsden estate. Biker airlifted to hospital after crash
A biker is seriously ill in hospital after a crash on a motorway sliproad near Orpington. The accident involving a motorbike, a car and a heavy goods vehicle happened at around 11am today (July 23). Opening gardens for kids' hospice
Three gardens have been opened to the public to raise money for a children's hospice. Around 200 people came to look at the lawns and flower beds of two homes in The Meadow and one in Brimstone Close, Chelsfield.
